Assistant Waiter – Il Teatro
Le Ristorante Il Teatro is looking for an Assistant Waiter to complete its team. By providing service that is as meticulous as it is organized, you contribute to maintaining the restaurant’s standard of service, while supporting a team that has been behind its reputation for excellence for over 25 years.
Primary duties :
- Perform pre-service set-up
- Ensure cleanliness of work area
- Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the pass-through at all times
- Ensure that all menu information is received before the service
- Responsible for setting up dishwashing items (cart, utensil bins with soaking liquid, empty garbage cans, etc.)
- Bring completed dishes from kitchen to tables and describe dishes to customers using their names if possible.
- Help service team with certain tasks during service
- Ensure set-up for room service clerk if they are not on duty.
- Any other related tasks.
Requirements :
- Enthusiastic
- Be attentive to customer needs
- Have an impeccably clean uniform
- Languages: French and English
- Excellent customer relations skills (friendliness, discretion, sense of integration)
- Respect for co-workers
- Deal well with stress and heavy work loads
- Resourcefulness
- Good memory
