The German Christmas Market Illuminates Old Quebec

The German Christmas Market, running until December 23, 2024, is a must-see in Old Quebec. Every year, over 90 artisans and producers come together to offer a wide range of local products and gift ideas that will delight both young and old.

Spend an unforgettable moment in five of the most beautiful panoramas the Capitale-Nationale has to offer, and take part in the many free activities available. It’s the perfect outing to fully enjoy the holiday season!

The 71st Quebec Winter Carnival

Known worldwide as the ultimate celebration of winter, the Quebec Winter Carnival is taking place from February 7 to 16, 2025. Celebrate this tradition with Bonhomme, the historic mascot! Have a drink at the Ungava Ice Bar, admire the view from Bonhomme’s palace, or marvel at the ice sculptures in the Sculpture Garden.

This year, visit the Juke-box Kraft and ride the Philadelphia Ferris Wheel, which will offer you a new perspective of Quebec from Place Georges-V.

The organization has pulled out all the stops this year with no fewer than 42 activities for both kids and adults!

Tea Time at the Capitole

The Capitole offers a selection of Asian teas and boreal herbal teas every Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Settle comfortably at BŌ Cuisine d’Asie and be inspired by a variety of teas that will transport you to the other side of the world.

This afternoon gourmet break allows you to experience something out of the ordinary, inviting people to slow down, meet, and socialize, as this well-known ritual suggests.

Tea is served in fine Asian tableware and includes a teapot per person, along with a variety of treats: butter cookies, crispy sesame puffs, yuzu tarts, mini Baos, sushi, and more—all freshly prepared by the Chef and restaurant kitchen staff.
